A new twist on the old favorite spinach dip. Serve with crisp, lowfat, whole grain crackers.
Makes 2½ Cups
1 10-ounce package frozen spinach, thawed, drained, chopped
½ cup red Bell Pepper or canned roasted red pepper, chopped
¼ cup green onions, chopped
2 garlic cloves, peeled and crushed
1 green serrano, stemmed, seeded, and minced
½ teaspoon hot pepper sauce, or to taste
Put all ingredients in a mixing bowl; stir until well blended.
Cover; refrigerate until serving time.
