Serves 8

3 tablespoons unsalted butter
3 tablespoons all-purpose fl our
1 1/2 cups beef broth
2 teaspoons dried dill or 1 1/2 tablespoons chopped fresh
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
3/4 cup dairy sour cream at room temperature

Melt butter in a heavy saucepan over low heat. Gradually stir in fl our, cooking and stirring until bubbly. Add broth, dill, salt, and nutmeg.
Remove from heat and stir in sour cream. Pour sauce over meatballs and serve.
